ATTENTION CUSTOMERS OF LA CYGNE WATER TREATMENT PLANT TO INCLUDE: CITY OF LA CYGNE, RURAL WATER DISTRICT 1, RURAL WATER DISTRICT 3, AND CITY OF LINN VALLEY.
GOVERNOR KELLY ISSUED EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 22-08 DECLARING A STAGE 2 WATER WARNING FOR LINN COUNTY. THIS ACTIVATES THE CITY OF LA CYGNE CONSERVATION PLAN. SEE BELOW FOR THE PLAN ACTIONS.
LA CYGNE CONSERVATION PLAN ACTIONS:
- Outdoor watering restricted to use of hand-held hose or bucket only.
- Waste of water prohibited.
- Lawn watering and car washing is restricted to before 10am and after 9:pm.
- Leaks will be repaired within 24 hours of detection.
- an odd/even lawn watering system will be imposed on City residents.
