COURT PROCEDURES WITH THE PROSECUTOR!

Defense Attorney's:

The prosecutor will handle all cases at the docket, including any amendments needed.

Defendant's:

The prosecutor will be available for you to speak to 30 minutes prior to court.

CONTINUANCES:

Defense Attorney's:

• A one time continuance may be granted by the court clerk with a written request.
• This request must be made no later than the Friday prior to court.
• All other continuances will be up to the Judge, but will NOT be granted the day of court!

Defendant's:

• A one time continuance may be granted by the court clerk.
• This request must be made no later than 1 week and 1 day prior to court. (2 Mondays before court).
• (The docket is sent to the prosecutor and the judge on Tuesday morning 1 week prior to court). A continuance will NOT BE granted after the docket has been sent.
• For all medical continuances a doctors note or hospital paperwork SHALL be required.
