The City Council will have three (3) seats available in the election in November 2021. If you are interested in running for a Council seat please go to City Hall to pick up a packet of paperwork that will need to be submitted to the Linn County office in Mound City by June 1, 2021.

City Council meetings are regularly scheduled at 7 pm on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month at the La Cygne City Hall. Special meetings are called as needed.

The La Cygne Planning and Zoning Commission meets on an as-needed basis at 7 pm on the second Thursday of the month at La Cygne City Hall.

The Zoning Appeals board meets as needed.  Meetings are typically held at La Cygne City Hall.
