Volunteers in La Cygne will be providing a free Christmas "grab-n-go" meal for the community. The meal will consist of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, a roll and cookies. To receive pre-plated Christmas meals for your household to heat and enjoy at home please follow these steps:
1. Call or text 913-602-6888 by the end of the day Sunday, December 13, to reserve your meal(s). In your message:
- Leave your full name (if calling please spell your last name) and contact number.
- Tell how many peoples in your household you're requesting meals for.
2. Pick up the meal(s) on Saturday, December 19, between 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at the La Cygne Methodist Church (4th Street and Chestnut). This is a drive-thru pickup event and community members should remain in their vehicles while picking up the food.
