Reports To: Chief of Police/Public Health Officer
Location: City of La Cygne, Kansas
Starting Wage: $21-23/hour (certified or not)
Employee provided:
- New uniforms, vests and boots
- Axon Body 4 cameras
- Taser T7s
- Pepperball launchers and other less-than-lethal options
Requirements
- Must reside within a 25 mile radius of La Cygne within 3 months of hire
- Must be 21 years of age or older at time of hire
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver's License
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Good ethical and moral standing
- Hiring process may consist of a written test and a 3 person oral board interview
